Oral Health Therapist
Lauren started her career in dentistry as a dental assistant in 2005 and gained valuable experience before deciding to pursue a Diploma in Dental Technology in 2010. On completion of this course, Lauren continued her studies and completed a Bachelor of Oral Health at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, NSW in 2014.
Lauren has called Ballarat home since 2015 and particularly enjoys Ballarat’s up and coming food and wine scene. When Lauren isn’t working she enjoys board game nights with friends, searching for excellent coffee, and visiting wineries/breweries.
Lauren prides herself on creating a comfortable dental environment and providing gentle treatment. She is passionate about children’s dental health and ensuring that each visit is a fun and non-threatening experience which can lead to positive dental habits into their adult years. Lauren believes that prevention is better than treatment and looks forward to assisting with the patients at Ashmore Dentistry in their dental health needs.
As an Oral Health Therapist, Lauren can provide her patients with a variety of dental services including:
- Dental treatment for children and young adults (25 years and under)
- Assessment and treatment of gum disease
- Regular maintenance and preventative care for all ages
- Tooth whitening
- Mouthguards
- Bulk Billing for patients who are eligible for the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CBDS)
