Edan Hopkins started her career in dentistry as a dental nurse in 2012. After nursing for almost 10 years she decided to complete further studies to obtain her Degree in Oral Health Therapy and Hygiene at Charles Sturt University, graduating in 2021.

Edan is a mother of 2 who loves to work with children to ensure their first dental experience is fun, enjoyable and exciting all while incorporating valuable behaviour management to maintain excellent oral health long term.

Edan has a very soft, caring nature and enjoys helping people of all ages with their at home oral hygiene instructions and ensuring everyone has a comfortable dental experience.

As an Oral Health Therapist, Edan can provide her patients with a variety of dental services including:

  • Dental treatment for children and young adults (25 years and under)
  • Assessment and treatment of gum disease
  • Regular maintenance and prevention care for all ages
  • Tooth whitening
  • Mouth guards
  • Bulk billing for patients who are eligible for the Child Dental Benefit Schedule (CDBS)

Edan is from Ballarat and has lived locally all her life.  She is very family oriented and when she isn’t providing dental care she loves been part of her children’s  local football and netball clubs and quality time with family.
